On July 19, 2010 it was announced that DirecTV had picked up Damages for two more seasons, to consist of 10 episodes each, to air on their Audience Network. Season 4 premiered on July 13, 2011. The show is noted for its plot twists, nonlinear narrative, technical merit, season-long storylines, and the acting ability of its cast.
